If the notice did not arrive by the end of May, contact propertytax@victoria.ca or 250-361-0228. Use MyCity for current account information rather than treating a missed paper notice as a payment extension.
For online banking, use the property folio/roll number without dashes. Claim the Home Owner Grant through the province online or on 1-888-355-2700. Municipal staff no longer accept those applications.

Choose a payment route
City Hall’s ground-floor Public Service Centre is open weekdays 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays. Its Pandora entrance has an after-hours non-cash drop box. Mailed cheques must name City of Victoria in Canadian funds; avoid mail during disruptions.
Tax credit-card payment is through independent Plastiq, with an extra fee and separate account. Credit-card tax payment is not available at City Hall. Verify a mortgage provider’s payment arrangement directly.

Monthly prepayment and e-billing
The city plan takes ten monthly withdrawals on the first, August through May, then the balance on the July due date. The tax account must start at zero or credit to enrol. Send the agreement with a void cheque.
For e-billing, register each property separately in MyCity using its eight-digit folio and six-digit access code. The next annual tax notice is then delivered by email.
